Soul Sister Mediums wanted a digital platform that made it easy for customers to find, pay for and instantly connect with independent consultants. While the concept was straightforward, the platform needed to support much more than calling.
The main challenge was to create a platform that could make immediate consultations simple for customers while giving consultants and the business the control they needed.
Zedrox turned this concept into a complete digital platform for Soul Sister Mediums, bringing consultant discovery, live calling, payments and account management into one connected experience. The platform also provides a central admin area for managing consultants, customers, pricing, credit packages, transactions, reviews, website content and communications.
Furthermore, we implemented a credit-based wallet to simplify the payment experience. The platform was designed around real-time availability, with Online, Busy and Offline statuses controlling whether customers can initiate a call. It also ensures that a consultant can only handle one active call at a time.
To create a flexible consultation platform, we combined different web technologies and payment integrations.
We supported the project through custom platform development, portal development, live calling functionality, payment integration and administrative management.
For users to browse consultants profiles, filter and sort consultants, we created a customer portal. The customers can also check availability, purchase credits, start calls and view their transaction and invoice history.
A dedicated consultants dashboard was also created that lets the consultants manage profiles and availability, view call history, request credit redemptions and monitor earnings.
An admin portal was also created to give the internal team control over consultants, customers, pricing, credit packages, transactions, reviews and email communications.
We also ensured Online, Busy and Offline availability statues helping customers find consultants who are ready to take a call. It is further designed to prevent consultants from handling multiple active calls simultaneously.
The platform further has a credit-based wallet for which we integrated Stripe. The platform manages credit balances and usage while keeping payment and transaction information connected to the relevant calls.
In addition to other features, we added content management functionality that allows the business team to update key website pages, settings and email templates without requiring a new deployment.
The Soul Sister Mediums project transformed the concept of instant paid consultations into a complete digital marketplace.
The result is a streamlined platform that connects customers with consultants and brings consultation management, payments and operations together in one place.
